live like you don't do apologies

sometimes i forget that people abide rules.

rules are extremely boring.

a girl asks “so… what do you do?”

“I’m a copywriter, do you know what that is?”

“no I don’t… what is it?”

“yeah… not much people have heard of it… basically I send 50 cold emails a day to companies to get a response, some people do 300 but that’s wrong because-”

“oh that sounds interesting"

don’t. you sound like you belong on linkedin.

instead…

“so… what do you do?”

“I sell drugs to homeless people, that guy right there, he’s my prime customer" (points to a guy in a suit)

“ahahahah no be serious”

“i’m not joking, he was begging for a rock on tick just before you came, now he sees me with you, his withdrawals suddenly vanished”

“shutup he did not do that”

“yes he did, seeing you in that *insert whatever shes wearing* gave him the hit he needed”

when serious… deflect with humour. drop whatever you think and do that. drop a testimonial when it works.

better advice is “don’t abide rules”

david ogilvy, also known as the father of advertising… made the best quote of all time.

very much so. me too.

but what came after those words?

“I hate rules. all I do is report on how consumers react to different stimuli.”

this is where i tell you an important shift in your mind…

there are no rules. there are just things that work. and things that don’t.

just like there is no “correct” way of living.

and you should never base your life off what others want for you.

your parents tell you get a degree and job. but you just want money... don’t listen to them.

your friends tell you to be a player. but you want one girl… don’t listen to them. (however, I’ll stay married 2 the game)

you don’t listen to people. you listen to your soul.

just like a sales page… each failure is natures compass, life is all a game of trial and error.

it’s all a science experiment, it’s testing and iterating.

you don’t abide rules. you test, analyse, iterate.

if it works? it works.

if it doesn’t? test more. repeat until you strike gold.

you don’t do apologies. you live like a narcissist. everything is looking at you. but they cant see your eyes through the black aviator raybans.

they take pictures of you with the flash on to try and get you to hide… but all you can think of is “my chain is probably dancing in that lighting”

everyone is a fan… because you don’t care.

you realise “your ego is too high” only comes from the ones who could do with some ego. just like you realise the health gurus could do with a redbull and a heavy chest session.

when one flaw doesn’t beat 100 good traits anymore… life only goes uphill.

you are simply on a different frequency to all the people who can even “stress”

your ego is only “too high” if the ego doesn’t align with what you truly feel.

but when you truly feel how you say you do… and others class you as “high ego” or “arrogant”

you know you’ve made it…

it’s never about the materialism.

it’s about the inner thoughts.

at the end of the day, when you lay up in your bed. you’ve drank your 4 raw eggs with milk and honey. you’ve popped your 3 capsules of hibernation…

it’s you and yourself.

when these 2 people meet… what does the conversation look like?

arguments? therapy?

or compliments? praise?

don’t hold any guilt in your heart… because it’ll weigh on you.

instead, live unapologetically… everything is a science experiment.

because after all… it's your world. and it’s built for you to test and iterate.

how did cavemen learn which berries are safe to eat…

testing. and iterating.

that’s how you should live life.

no rules. just testing. see what comes back positive, hopefully not a pregnancy test. (unless her father is rich)

test and iterate your sales pages.

test and iterate your girls.

test and iterate your limits.

test and iterate life.

everyones innocent until proven guilty.

information goes in. you test it. then it goes out. or stays. depending on the result of the experiment.

that’s it. remember that.

stay busy.
