so… a question I will be asked a lot is “when do you actually rest”
I mean, we grind most of the time… but when do you actually rest?
This is something I’ve thought about a lot recently…
I’ve been through burnout when my brain physically DID NOT allow me to work… even though I wanted to.
So, you can say I’m pretty experienced.
And here’s the mindset I want you to go into this with…
You Either Work Hard, Or Play Hard.
No in-between.
Listen...
If you’re in a season of just pure work… you’re going to do EVERYTHING to just work.
You’re not going to do any bad habits, you’re going to set up your diet, phone, environment, EVERYTHING towards your goal.
But here’s the things…
When you’re in a season of “rest”
You will not do ANY work and just go full freedom mode.
You will not touch your work at all, you will do whatever you want.
Smoke, drink, eat whatever, ANYTHING you want.
Just let loose.
This is what all the super successful do, people like Iman gadzhi, etc.
They will work like a dog, but they will also party like a dog.
Now... parties aren’t my thing, but I will just go into a period where I just…
Work for 3 weeks straight.
Have one week to do WHATEVER.
This is the goal…
Work for 3 weeks out of the month.
Book a holiday for the last week of the month.
This way you will never be burnt out...
You will be making huge progress, and having fun while doing so.
But here’s the point I want to make…
You’re either FULLY in on the grind.
Or you’re not FULLY in the “play” mode.
There is no in-between.
When you work, work…
When you play, play.
And this is what I’m going to leave you with.
You are either working, or playing, no in-between.
P.S rest is also a part of a “working day”, don’t think a little nap in the evening is unproductive.
But anyway…
